Gatwick Airport employees in London, the capital of England, will go on strike for 4 consecutive days. It is expected that there will be major disruptions in flights due to the strike and there may be strikes that will affect more than 12 thousand daily flights in Europe throughout the summer.

It was announced that up to 1,000 employees, including baggage and check-in staff, will go on strike at Gatwick Airport, between 28 July and 1 August and 4-8 August. Serious cancellations and flight disruptions are expected due to the strikes.

On the other hand, it is stated that hundreds of thousands of flights are already jeopardized throughout Europe due to the “strike vote of air traffic controllers”.
