Two foreign nationals in Taksim Istiklal Avenue got into a physical altercation with shopkeepers, claiming that bandaging was not done after their hair transplant operation. One of the individuals later had a heated argument with security personnel when taken to the hospital. The incident was recorded by citizens’ mobile phone cameras.

A street fight between tourists and shopkeepers in the middle of the avenue

The incident took place in Beyoğlu Taksim Istiklal Avenue. According to the allegations, two foreign nationals who had come for a hair transplant operation claimed that bandaging was not done at the center and that they could get an infection. This led to an argument at the center.

The argument escalated into a physical fight between the tourists and shopkeepers in the middle of the street. Police teams who arrived at the scene had to intervene to separate them. After the incident, the individual taken to Taksim Training and Research Hospital also had a lengthy argument with security personnel.
