Town with  6 thousand population will accommodate 200 thousand people during Eid al-Adha

AMASRA, the historical and tourist district of BARTIN is now the new favorite of the people at Eid al-Adha. Hotels and hostels in the district have reached 100 percent occupancy before the holiday. Amasra Mayor said, “We expect 200 thousand tourists during the Eid aliAdha (Sacrifice Holiday), including daily holidaymakers.

Amasra has begun to suffer an influx of visitors during the period of normalization.  Before Eid al-Adha with reservations received 100 percent of hotels and hostels with a capacity of 5 thousand beds are full.

ALL FACILITIES ARE FULL

Amasra which is the district center with 6 thousand 600 population expects to host 200 thousand tourists together with daily holidaymakers. The mayor said all accommodation facilities would be full adding following: “Our town will incur a heavy visitor traffic this year, as every year. Currently, we have 1 week before the holiday, but all our accommodation facilities have already reached a 100 percent occupancy rate. This means  we have no vacancy. Of course, the intense influx of visitors will cause all our villages around Amasra to gain momentum in terms of home boarding.”

BLUE FLAG INKUM BEACH TO RECEIVE 20-30 THOUSAND HOLIDAYMAKERS DAILY

Inkum beach, the only one with blue flag in Bartın with 3 km coastline draws a lot of attention, as well. Mayor of Bartın has said “Guests to come to our Amasra district now and during the holiday definitely visit INKUM as well. As it looks now, we expect 20-30 thousand people daily at Inkum. As a municipality, we have taken all our precautions at this “Blue Flag” beach. We have made all our preparations to provide the best hospitality for our guests.”
