Tsunami alert in Mexico after magnitude 7.6 earthquake strikes
A magnitude 7.6 earthquake has struck in the western Mexican state of Michoacan. A tsunami alert was issued in the country due to the earthquake.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) announced that the magnitude 7.6 earthquake, the epicenter of which was 37 kilometers southeast of the city of Aquila in the state of Michoacan, occurred at a depth of about 15 kilometers.
