TUIK announces unemployment figures for October 2021: Real unemployment rate found 22.8 percent!

According to TURKSTAT data, the unemployment rate in Turkey decreased by 0.2 percent in October compared to the previous month and stood at 11.2 percent. The real unemployment rate, defined as “idle labor force”, increased by 1 point in October compared to the previous month and was 22.8 percent.

According to the TURKSTAT, the number of unemployed people aged 15 and older in Turkey decreased by 75 thousand people in October 2021 compared to the previous month and amounted to 3 million 717 thousand people.
