Moody’s, the credit rating agency, said that consumer inflation in Turkey may exceed 25 percent in the coming months, while a possible new interest rate cut in December has put upward pressure on inflation.

Moody’s also made following statement in a note for its customers: “We expect consumer price inflation which was 21.3 percent in November, to rise to or even above 25 percent levels in the coming months”

The agency estimated that inflation would be at the level of 17 percent-18 percent by the end of 2022.
