TUIK says annual inflation in Turkey: 64.27 percent

Turkish Statistical Institute has announced 2022 consumer inflation as 64.27 percent. According to TURKSTAT, consumer inflation was 1.18 percent monthly and 64.27 percent annually in December.

According to ENAG, monthly inflation was 5.18 percent in December and annual inflation was 137.55 percent.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) has announced the inflation figures for December. In December 2022, the change in consumer prices (CPI) was 1.18 percent compared to the previous month, 64.27 percent compared to December of the previous year, and 72.31 percent compared to the twelve-month averages.

The expectation of economists in a Reuters poll was that monthly inflation would be 2.7 percent in December and annual inflation would be 66.8 percent.
