Spain has begun diplomatic and sectoral initiatives to resolve the shake-up it suffered when Britain again declared it a “risky country”. The interesting point is it seems that Turkey and Greece will benefit from said development.

The British government’s decision to declare Spain as a risky country, as well as Germany’s announcement it will quarantine those returning from Spain, TUI halted flights to this country and put additional flights put to Turkey and Greece

According to TUI’s planning, additional flights to Turkey and Greece will be scheduled for August 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The director of TUI UK and Germany said, “70 per cent of our guests have shifted their Spain bookings to other destinations or postponed them to a further date. So for this week we have put 7 flights to Crete, Rhodes, Zante and Corfu in Greece and some additional flights to Dalaman and Antalya in Turkey.”
