Turkey and Russia sign agreement for purchase of S-400 missiles

Russian officials have announced the signing of the S-400 agreement between Russia and Turkey.

Aleksandr Miheyev, General Manager of Russian state arms export company Rosoboroneksport, said that the signing of the contract for Turkey’s S-400 missile defense systems had been signed and added that but the agreement had not yet come into force.”

Answering the questions of journalists in the capital Moscow, Miheyev said that consultations between Turkey and Russia on S-400 missile defense systems were continuing.

Miheyev pointed out that the agreement between the two countries regarding the procurement of S-400s had been signed and parties were working on some technical details.
