Breaking News: Turkey removes mask and HES code requirements

Health Minister Koca has made a speech on TV and shared following decisions regarding covid19 measures applied by Turkey.

Regarding the issue Koca said: “Today I will offer you the freedom from the bans we have applied for corona. Our Scientific Committee has submitted a proposal for developments in corona. I would like to say that at the moment corona affects Turkey less. We have been announcing to you for some time that corona has been removed from the agenda. When we realized that the epidemic would be over, we lifted some restrictions. We know that the fight against coronavirus will be given with a vaccine from now on. The decisions that I will share with you in a moment are not absolute consensual decisions. There are also those who would prefer to wait.”

The Minister went on to say;

“From now on,

1- The mask will not be mandatory in the open air.
2- The HPP code application has been removed. The HPP code will not be used when entering any organization.

No HES code will be applied for entrance to any institution or organisation.
Testing will not be required from people who have no symptoms of corona.”
