17-year-old AI expert invents application to translate sign language in voice & writing

Amazing accomplishment from a seventeen year old Turkish student: Arda MAVI has introduced an application for simultaneous translation of sign language in voice and in writing. It seems quite clear that we will often hear the name of Arda Mavi who is also a winner of TUBITAK prize.

Arda Mavi who is a senior at Ayrancı Anadolu High School in Ankara and among the best artificial intelligence researchers of Deep Learning Turkey Community has been interested in programming and mobile application development since primary school. Arda who says he wants to be a computer engineer in the future has managed to get a scholarship from Nvidia with his training videos in the past period.

He has has been doing various studies in the field of artificial intelligence together with his friend Zeynep Dikle. At a meeting about disabled people in Istanbul,  Arda Mavi and his friend introduced an application called SESGORITMA that can translate sign language simultaneously in voice and in writing with her friend Zeynep Dikle.

Despite his young age, Arda has completed his computer engineering, autonomous cars and artificial intelligence at companies such as TECHNARTS, Nvidia and medicine and Koç University.
