Turkey’s Finance Minister: I hope our per capita income will rise above 12 thousand dollars in 2023

Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati spoke at the Dolmabahçe Working Office on the “Assessment of 2022 and Program for 2023 Targets”. The Minister said, “We predict that our per capita income will exceed the level of 10 thousand dollars in 2022 due to the effect of our high growth performance. This is also above the Medium-Term Program forecast. Hopefully, our per capita income will rise even higher and reach over 12 thousand dollars in 2023.”

More than a year ago, we implemented the Turkish Economic Model, in which we focused on investment, employment, production and exports. We have come together with you to evaluate the results of the policies we have implemented within the scope of our model and the budget realizations for the year 2022 in full detail in the presence of public.
