Turkey’s budget makes a deficit of 139.1 billion liras in 2022

TURKEY BUDGET DEFICIT

The central government budget made a deficit of TL 118.6 billion in December. The budget deficit was a total of 139.1 billion TL in 2022. Budget expenditures excluding interest amounted to 355 billion 570 million TL. A primary deficit of TL 100.37 billion was issued in December.

TURKEY’S BUDGET SHOWS DEFICIT OF 139.1 BILLION LIRAS IN 2022

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has announced the results of budget implementation of the Ministry of Finance and Finance of 2022.

Accordingly, in 2022, the total budget expenditure amounted to 2 trillion 941 billion liras, and the budget revenue amounted to 2 trillion 802 billion liras, as a result of which the budget deficit was 139.1 billion liras for the whole year. The Central Budget gave a total surplus of 171.8 billion liras in 2022.

BUDGET GAVE A DEFICIT OF 118.6 BILLION TL IN DECEMBER

In December, budget revenues amounted to 255.2 billion TL. The budget expenditures amounted to 373 billion TL. Non-interest expenses were recorded as TL 118.6 billion in December.

The size of tax revenues in December amounted to TL 111.6 billion. Interest expenditures amounted to TL 18 billion 246 million.

Budget expenditures excluding interest amounted to 355 billion 570 million TL. A primary deficit of TL 100.37 billion was issued in December.
