Turkish Airlines banned 200 passengers who did not comply with the rules from flights in 2023

Bilal Ekşi, the General Manager of Turkish Airlines (THY), announced that they had banned 200 passengers from flights in 2023 for not complying with the rules.

Ekşi, who asked passengers to comply with flight rules, said in a statement on his social media account, “Neither you nor we should be upset. In 2023, we had to ban 200 passengers who did not comply with the rules from flying. These passengers may also be subject to administrative fines exceeding 10,000 liras by the SHGM (General Directorate of Civil Aviation).”

Ekşi also added the link address containing the “Notice Regarding the Reassessment of Administrative Fines Stated in the Regulation on Administrative Fines to be Imposed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation” published in the Official Gazette to his post.
