ZELINSKIY AND PUTIN

Assessing Russia’s attack on Ukraine, experts comment “Nothing will be the same anymore”. One expert has also said “The longest war in Eurasia is beginning” noting Ukraine has been sacrificed.

The fourth day of Russia’s offensive against Ukraine has been entered. At the end of the day it is the Ukrainian people suffering, as a result of the struggle between NATO and the United States and the Russian war barons.

After the Ukrainian war which the world has turned its eyes to, following comments are being shared; “Nothing will be the same as before”. Explaining how this war will affect the world and Turkey, an expert says, “The order that the United States built after the Cold War has been gradually coming to an end” adding the issue of Ukraine has been on the agenda for a long time.

The United States is standing up to the establishment of a new world order. There was an interesting vote at the United Nations Security Council the previous day. Russia itself vetoed the censure vote. China abstained. What was interesting was that India and the United Arab Emirates abstained. Putin made a very strategic move. He visited India during the Ukrainian crisis, and they signed very important defense agreements. They are considering opening a new trade corridor to the east over the sea. They will also partner India in this. Now India is saying to the United States, ‘If you are leaving Ukraine alone today, which you have shown as your ally there, you will leave me alone tomorrow when I face China one day.’ I think that is why India and the United Arab Emirates abstained to condemn Russia and this may open the door to another new political structure.”

IT WON’T BE THE SAME AS BEFORE

Referring to the fact that the Ukrainian war has more meanings than the Black Sea, experts comment as follows: “The Chinese say, The Indo-Pacific strategy of the USA is over – that is looking at the attitude of India, the United Arab Emirates. Iran is behind all this, North Korea’s approach is already obvious. These numbers are going to start increasing. Because the United States knew this, it established the AUKUS Pact with Australia and the United Kingdom. India is at a key point in this region. Biden somehow got Russia involved with Ukraine. Putin’s concern here was that the United States which turned Australia into a nuclear power overnight, could also turn Ukraine into such a power. A few days later, the war in Ukraine will end. Zelenskiy will be demoted or removed from power. Russia will withdraw from Ukraine after its political and military goals have been achieved. But nothing will be the same as before. Ukraine had very high expectations. NATO and the United States announced that they would not enter the war. But they sacrificed Ukraine. NATO has started building a military stack around Ukraine like never before. NATO and the United States are preparing for the post-Ukraine period. I don’t think they care much about Ukraine. Now begins the longest war in Eurasia. The global powers want to consume Putin’s Russia by somehow immersing Russia in this environment. This war will not be fought with tanks and rifles like that. Geopolitical competition, military competition, a show of mutual strength will be held with an economic struggle.”

THE COST WILL BE HUGE

The experts who also evaluate how Turkey will be affected by the crisis in question, said: “It actually benefits Turkey that NATO has not taken a serious decision because otherwise issues such as the blockade of the sea and the Straits would be raised. Turkey expresses intentions to mediate between Russia and Ukraine. But economically, of course, we are now out of trade with the Black Sea. Look, the Turkish ships are stuck in a blockade. The Black Sea has been the most peaceful sea in the region to date. Turkeywill bring herself to the point of preparation in certain areas. That is, from military preparation to political preparation… All those are things that increase costs. If NATO gets into this seriously, Turkey’s position of standing at this distance and balancing will gradually deteriorate because Turkey is ultimately in NATO. Turkey’s offer to mediate has also been a precaution mechanism to avoid pressure from the very beginning.”

ZELENSKY IS STUCK

A retired ambassador has said that NATO continues to pile up on the territory of member states, adding: “We don’t see that the Western world is in a situation of doing much. They have neither the means nor the desire to enter into a war with Russia. They don’t want to get into a fight with Putin. At least they don’t want to get into an armed struggle. Putin is telling the Ukrainian people to ‘Rise up and overthrow Zelinski’. These are 2 things that haven’t been seen in Europe since World War II. The course of the war largely depends on the strength of the Ukrainian people and army. It seems that they have not surrendered in a couple of days. The Russians have not entered Kiev yet. Russia will be weakened if the war continues for many months. Zelenski is also stuck. He is making unrealistic demands to the European Union such as ‘Take us now’. Putin is clearly aiming to kill Zelinski. In that regard, I cannot find Zelinski’s critical rhetoric, odd. If NATO sends troops to Ukraine, There will be a Third World War. No one will risk it.”
