The German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs removes dozens of countries from risk list

The German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) have reevaluated the global infection process and removed more than 30 countries and overseas territories from the list of high-risk areas for corona.

The Federal Foreign Office of Germany, the Robert Koch Institute of Infection and Global Process re-evaluated and removed more than 30 countries and overseas regions including Italy, Belgium, Croatia, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and Sweden from the list of regions in terms of high risk of the corona. No new warnings were issued with the last update on Friday.

RKI also gave the green light to popular holiday islands such as Seychelles and the ABC islands Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

Australia and the Philippines are also no longer listed as high-risk regions.

The same applies to Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.

The changes will take effect at midnight on Sunday.
