Why are there no women and children among Afghan migrants?

The issue of “young” Afghan s who set out from Afghanistan, crossed Iran and crossed the border into Turkey has inevitably fallen behind the forest fires in Turkey. But the process is continuing. Turkey’s responsibility for Afghanistan’s security, starting with Kabul airport, is being scrutinized, especially by the United States.

First of all, the question that needs to be answered is:

For whom, for what sake, and in exchange for what, will Turkey assume security in Afghanistan?

In a short reply to this question, the government wants to improve relations with the United States, provide foreign support for survival, and receive some money.

– The queston “Why Afghans entering Turkey from the Iranian border were always young men and why there were no women or children” was raised by many. The answer was: “they are Afghan citizens who served on behalf of the United States in Afghanistan. The US is now evacuating them through Turkey to protect them from the Taliban.”

– They are brought from Afghanistan to the Iranian border with the organization of the central government. They are taken at the entrance to Turkey and taken to certain campsites. It is said that some of these people will be taken to the United States.

– This picture brings to mind the fact that about 5 thousand Peshmerga working for the United States in Iraq in 1996 were taken to the island of Guam by the United States. The United States had specially trained these people in Guam to use them for itself in Iraq.

– It is estimated that the number of Afghans entering Turkey this way now exceeds 5 – 6 thousand. This traffic is out of the control of the United Nations.

The United States, on the one hand, continues to negotiate with the Taliban. More than half of the country is under Taliban control. The central government is regressing step by step.

– Regardless of all this,  it seems very likely most Afghans who do not want to live under the Taliban want to come to Turkey. It is said that this number can rise to 10 million. Pakistan has closed its border with Afghanistan to prevent more asylum seekers from arriving.
