Nowadays one of the hottest topics on the media is surely whether AK Party will hold elections on time (that is June 2023 latest) as obliged by law or it will find or make up somethings such as a major military move in foreign soil or some act having to do with security etc in Turkey, that would seem to be a satisfactory excuse to convince all concerned parties and postpone elections for a later (unknown maybe) date. Its alliance relations have disintegrated and its foreign support has largely been withdrawn, especially by the United States and Western countries. Elections are the only source of legitimacy for this ruling power, now.  Therefore, it seems difficult for Erdogan to escape the elections.

Because it is necessary to see that it would impossible for this Islamist movement, which has also lost this source of legitimacy, to maintain its power. It is impossible for the Islamist AKP government, which can already be said to be a historical failure or even an accident, to continue its rule based on an “artificial balance”. …………………..
