World’s first vaccine used via inhalation, comes from China

The world’s first breathable Covid-19 vaccine manufactured by China has been unveiled at a trade show.

The vaccine is administered through an inhalation device that has a kind of serum effect.

Phase 2 clinical trials of the vaccine, which was introduced at the health fair in Haikou city, have also been completed.

The clinical research process of the vaccine, which began in September 2020, was conducted jointly by researchers from the institute of military medicine and Wuhan University hospital under the Chinese academy of military sciences.

The fact that respiratory vaccines can be administered with disposable devices without the need for trained personnel may have an advantage over injected vaccines.

Sinopharm and Sinovac are the two other vaccines developed by China’s Sinopharm and Sinovac companies that have received emergency use approval from the World Health Organization.
