World’s leading travel magazine shows Istanbul among top must-see destinations
One of the world’s leading travel magazines has ranked must-see destinations for September, showing Istanbul top of the list covering 25 different routes worldwide. The magazine called Conde Nast Traveller emphasized that Istanbul was a magnificent place throughout history and shared important information about the gastronomy and cultural life of the city.
The magazine mentioned details about Istanbul’s artistic activities, especially Contemporary Istanbul, drawing attention to the vitality in this area. It also noted Istanbul was very interesting in terms of famous restaurants and food culture with recommendations about the restaurants in the city.
Conde Nast Traveller did not fail to include information about the historical beauties of Istanbul and published information about the richness of the city.
Regarding places to see, the magazine mentioned the must-see routes of the city and especially Istiklal Caddesi (street) one of the most crowded spots in the town.
The Bosphorus which is one of the most important icons of the city certainly found a place in the article and noted that a boat tour of the Bosphorus was among the things that must be done in the city.
The historical and religious buildings of the city, especially Hagia Sophia, were also shown among the places to see in the article of the magazine. Other places on the magazine’s list of routes to see in September were as follows: Lisbon, Budapest, San Francisco, Barcelona, Morocco, Milan, New York and Sicily.
