Borsa Istanbul loses 7 percent after circuit breaker applied twice in a row on February 07

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul fell by 7.01 percent to 4,584.48 points in the first half of the day, on 07.02.2023. The BIST 100 index lost 345.69 points in the first half of the day, when the Index-Linked Circuit Breaker System was running 2 times at Borsa Istanbul, compared to the previous close as of 13.04.

The BIST 100 index, which closed at 4,930.18 points yesterday, started the day at 4,903.85 points, losing 26.33 points and 0.53 percent. The index saw a low of 4,584.48 and a high of 4,903.85 points in the first half of the day.

In the first half of the day, the financial index lost 7.02 percent, the services index 7.50 percent, the technology index 8.96 percent and the industrial index 6.12 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 4 of the shares included in the BIST 100 index rose in the first half of the day, and 95 of them lost value.

The most traded stocks were Turkish Airlines, Kardemir (D), ASELSAN, Koza Gold Enterprises and Tüpraş.
