British tourists make travel plans for Easter

Searches for flights from the UK to Portugal increased by 13.2% whereas they went up by 12.7 percent for Spain. The average hotel prices for Easter in Spain are 20% higher than the average in Portugal, Turkey and Greece.

According to Mabrian Technologies, Russia’s war against Ukraine and the resulting instability in Eastern Europe have increased the demand for Spain and Portugal, for Easter from the United Kingdom.

According to the latest data from said company, flight calls and spontaneous British demand increased by 13.2% for Portugal and 12.7% for Spain, while there is a decrease for Turkey and Greece.

Turkey goes down in searches

According to concerned news report when 13 days prior to Russian invasion and 13 days following the invasion were compared,  it was observed that flight queries, and demand from UK increased by 13.2 percent for Portugal and 12.7 percent for Spain but it decreased by 10.45 percent for Turkey and 8.15 percent for Greece.
