Burhaniye Municipality starts producing food for stray animals with bone grinder machine

Burhaniye Municipality has taken an important step for street animals. The Municipality has had a bone grinder machine made for the purpose of grinding bones collected from butchers and serving it to stray animals in shelters, after mixing ground bones with various foods.

Burhaniye Municipality continues to work to feed street animals better and in healthier conditions.

With this system implemented at the animal shelter in Burhaniye (Alida Nedim Eraslan Street Animal Hospice) bones are collected from butchers, ground, turned into minced meat and boiled. Thereafter, this minced meat is mixed with various foods and given to street animals as wet food.
