Call from President Erdogan on citizens who have foreign currency in banks

President Erdogan, who made statements after today’s cabinet meeting, also made an important call to citizens who have foreign currency once again.

Erdogan said the following about this issue:

I would also like to make a call on individuals and institutions that have money and currency in the bank or under the pillow / in the safe.

I invite everyone to evaluate the opportunities brought by our new economic policy which we are building on the foundations of investment, employment, production and exports. The fluctuation caused by price and exchange rate increases will surely stop after a while.

We argue that the foreign exchange problem in our country is not about the level of the exchange rate, but about its stability, and we are also taking steps to ensure this.
