NBC News reported the details of the offer made for the release of hostages, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also stated that an agreement could be reached for the release of some hostages.

Over the weekend, U.S. media made a noteworthy claim regarding the Israel-Hamas war, asserting that negotiations for the release of hostages had begun.

The New York Times claimed that there were two offers on the table in the Israel-Hamas talks mediated by Qatar. CNN International suggested that, as part of an agreement foreseeing a brief pause in the conflicts, hostages would be gradually released, with priority given to women and children.

NBC News, in its report based on a senior U.S. official, provided details of the hostage agreement. According to the unnamed U.S. official, approximately 80 women and children held by Hamas would be released in exchange for women and child prisoners held in Israeli prisons.

The official mentioned that the offer was being discussed but not finalized, emphasizing that Washington was exploring all options to secure the release of the hostages.
