E-commerce giant Hepsiburada will hire 5 thousand people for new business potential

Because of the outbreak of the corona virus which has ravaged the world, people who have had to stay at home meet their needs by ordering online. In the meantime e-commerce platform Hepsiburada has announced that it will hire 5 thousand people to respond to the increasing demand.

Based on most recent surveys, citizens have shifted to online shopping which has caused a tremendous increase in volumes achieved by companies operating in this area.

In parallel to this development, e-commerce platform Hepsiburada has announced that it it will provide employment for additional 5 thousand employees by the end of 2020 to serve in the operation and distribution network in the “CEBINDEKI MARKET” (market in your pocket – meaning mobile phone) units. With additional employment, the total number of employees in Hepsiburada’s operations and distribution area will rise to 7,500, according to the company.

Hepsiburada top official has made a statement on the issue, stressing that they continue to invest in Turkey and shared following:

“As Hepsiburada, we continue to invest in new products, services, technological solutions and facilitate the lives of our customers. Especially, in these difficult times we have been passing through, we are continuing to work with all our strength to fulfill our duty with a full consciousness of duty, as Hepsiburada family.

Hepsiexpress is the first company in Turkey to launch this service which enables customers to buy almost everything to cover fresh food, dry food and cleaning products in particular as well as personal care and cosmetics, home textiles etc. The customers are able to access fresh vegetable and fruit products produced from domestic seeds, 100 per cent local red meat, approximately 500 different Carrefour branded products with the assurance and quality of Carrefour.
