EARLY ELECTION TURKEY

After the nomination crisis at the Six-Party Table (solved on March 6), ORC Research published the results of the survey conducted between March 4-6 Dec. The difference in the first poll involving CHP leader Kemal KILICDAROGLU and President Erdogan drew attention.

ORC Research has published the results of a survey study conducted with 1850 participants in 28 provinces between March 4-6 Dec.

QUESTION ASKED ABOUT ERDOGAN AND KILICDAROGLU’S CANDIDACY

In the poll, which also highlighted the candidacy crisis (solved on March 6) experienced at the Table of Six, people were asked about their likely preference between AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and CHP Chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu in the presidential election to be held on May 14.

IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE OF VOTE SHARE BETWEEN 2 CANDIDATES

The distribution of the voting preferences of the participants in the survey drew attention. The support given to the Nation Alliance’s presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was found as 56.8 percent.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the candidate of the People’s Alliance on the other hand remained at 43.2 percent.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This survey was conducted between 4 and 6 March when the table of six experienced a crisis (solved later). Reflections on social media later show, the voters were remarkably happy after the crisis was solved on March 6 and indeed this created even a higher energy and synergy in favor of the NATION’s ALLIANCE (table of six) thus increasing chances of a clear win over the ruling bloc even further.
