Forest fire in Marmaris: Flames spread to hotel
Flames spread to the hotel during the forest fire in the Marmaris district of Mugla.
The fire broke out in the Icmeler neighborhood of Marmaris, Mugla, in a wooded area close to a residential area for a reason that has not yet been determined. The fire, which soon grew due to the influence of the wind, was seen to have reached a hotel located in the area.
Following the notification, airplanes, helicopters and trucks belonging to the Mugla Forest Regional Directorate were sent to the region, as well as municipal teams and fire crews. Extinguishing works are underway.
