Good news for Turkey from Germany regarding coming tourism season

The person responsible for tourism department of Germany has made promising statement in regards to coming tourism season. He said thanks to vaccination and rapid testing travel conditions would be established after May and summer holidays would see huge figures.

Germans who were forced to spend last summer in their homes rather than in resorts because of the Coronavirus outbreak raised hopes thanks to the statements made by Thomas BAREISS, the government’s Tourism Chief.

Bareiss said a relief was expected after the Easter holiday adding travel potential could be high in Germany during Easter Holiday in May. He also noted following; “I think there will be a boom in Holiday Travel,” adding during the summer season the tourism sector could make up for some of its financial losses incurred last winter and spring.

Bareiss also shared following; “Of course, 2021 will still be a crisis year and holiday travel will be gradually possible thanks to increased vaccinations and rapid Corona tests. He said he expected it to be possible to holiday in Germany and Europe, first in Germany and then in remote countries.

Thomas Bareiss who pointed out that the desire to travel among the public in Germany is generally high, said he did not expect travel companies to be in danger of bankruptcy.

Noting that the tourism sector in Germany has shown a great breakthrough in the last 10 years, the official said that if the perspective was quickly created in the coming process, the sector could regain its former strength.
