How much do UK citizens pay in various countries they go on holiday for the packages including products and services? What are the cheapest and most expensive holiday destinations for Brits?

The British Postal Administration has prepared a list called “holiday spending Barometer survey” answering these questions. The list is also supposed to helps UK citizens choose where to go for a holiday. According to the research, Turkey is the second cheapest country for Britons in terms of holiday package tour prices as well as spending made.

Based on the survey, the cheapest country for UK citizens is Bulgaria. The most expensive country is the Seychelles.

UK tourists pay £ 30.68 in Bulgaria for a basket of products they use where they go on holiday, while they pay £ 44.15 in Turkey and £ 48.21 in Japan. On the other hand they pay £ 165.10 in the Seychelles for the same basket.

For the index created within the scope of the “holiday spending barometer survey ” covering 42 countries, a basket is created by specifying the prices of “one glass of wine, one bottle of beer, one can of Coca-Cola, a large bottle of water and three types of dishes for two, one cup of coffee, and sunscreen” and the total cost of this package is calculated.

Checking out said list it is interesting to see that Japan, known for its expensive life standards ranks 3rd place right after Turkey which ranks second cheapest.
