Japanese giant in kitchen equipment sector becomes partners with Turkish company

Japan’s Hoshizaki Corporation, one of the top three companies in the industrial kitchen equipment sector, globally has become a 28.6 percent partner in Öztiryakiler. Companies have applied the Competition Authority for the transfer of concerned shares between Hoshizaki and Öztiryakiler.

The application was published on the Competition Board website. Öztiryakiler had announced last week they had reached agreement to sell 28.6 percent shares to Japanese company, headquartered in Japan and one of the industry’s three largest companies in the world.

In a statement made by Öztiryakiler, it was emphasized the agreement reached by Hoshizaki Corporation with 51 group companies and approximately 13 thousand employees world-wide showed the confidence the Japanese giant had in Turkey and Öztiryakiler. The statement read “We are realizing this partnership following a request from Hoshizaki. The synergy of Hoshizaki and Öztiryakiler will accelerate the rapid growth of our company”.

Öztiryakiler is known to be among the top/leading companies in industrial kitchen equipment sector.
