The latest reaction to the Israeli attacks came from Ireland. It has been announced that the Irish parliament will vote on the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador. On the other hand, The World Health Organization (WHO) called for a humanitarian ceasefire. Australia’s foreign minister called on Israel to stop attacks on hospitals. The images from Israel entered the world’s agenda from the first place.

First statement after Macron’s call: France’s position has not changed

A French political official dismissed Prime Minister Netanyahu’s criticism of French President Macron at a press conference on Saturday night.

The official stressed that Macron has ‘not changed his position’ on Israel’s action against Hamas, but that the French president believes that Israel can and should do more to prevent harm to Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Macron gave an exclusive interview to the British broadcaster BBC yesterday and said: ‘Actually, civilians are being bombed today. Babies, women, old people are being bombed and killed. This has no justification and no legitimacy. That’s why we are calling on Israel to stop.”
