Manisa authority imposes restrictions on public transport & weddings for citizens 65

It is understood things continue to get serious in relation to the corona virus outbreak in Turkey. Restrictions on citizens with age 65 and older are increasing as part of the fight against the epidemic.

With the new decision taken by the provincial hygiene Board of Manisa Governorate, citizens aged 65 and over are prohibited from using public transport between 17.00-20.00 hours, entering the district markets after 17.30 and attending weddings other than their first-degree relatives.

Obviously we could see this coming judging on the removal of many restrictions and going back to normal, much too early. Hopefully we can get control of the virus again and act more prudently this time.
