Okten warned that nitrogen dioxide, which would increase in the coming hours, would pose a risk to the lungs. Ökten made the following statements regarding the issue: “Air pollution is very high in Istanbul. A haze has settled over the city. It’s a risky situation for the lungs. In the coming hours, the amount of nitrogen dioxide will increase significantly, especially on the European side. It can cause headaches, dizziness, and chest pain. Let’s keep the windows closed.”
