MHP leader Bahceli slams “State of Emergency” claims: It is unconsciousness

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli said, “It is heedlessness and unconsciousness to distort the cyclical developments in the economy and accurate policy preferences and talk about OHAL (Olağanüstü Hal Yönetimi meaning State of Emergency)”

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made a written statement about the discussions on the agenda. Bahceli who targeted the National Alliance over the presidential candidacy discussions said, ”Turkey is being engaged through the presidential candidacy of the Nation’s Alliance (he said Abasement Alliance – like he often does to belittle the opposition).”

Regarding the statement by a professor saying State of Emergency might be put into practice in Turkey

“In addition, it is heedlessness and unconsciousness to distort the cyclical developments in the economy and accurate policy preferences and mention OHAL. There is nothing extraordinary in the Turkish economy which is rising, recovering and coming to balance. While we can look at the future with confidence, making ignorant polemics about macroeconomic parameters is only a service for crisis lovers, only for those who observe the fall of Turkey. Turkey is a growing, strengthening and prospering country. Periodic problems are temporary, soon everything will be better than before. While the whole world is having difficulties, our environment is under siege, it is shameful and equivalent to treason and betrayal of the nation to try to bring down Turkey’s internal front and destroy the castle.”
