HEALTH MINISTER KOCA - EPIDEMIC

Minister of Health KOCA has answered the question of whether the mask requirement will return due to the increase in Covid19 cases. KOCA pointed out that it would be enough for those in the risk group to pay attention to their personal precautions.

Covid-19 cases are on the rise… According to the latest shared weekly reports, the number of weekly cases, which was around 7,500 in the first half of June, increased by 45 percent this week.

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca made a statement about the increase. After the Cabinet meeting held yesterday, Koca, who was evaluating the agenda, was asked if the mask requirement would come back.

KOCA said, “It is important that those who are in the risk group pay attention to personal precautions. The disease that is now like the flu continues to pose a risk for older people and those with chronic disease.”

He went on to say, “The illness with same importance as of flue now, has ceased to be a cause of concern in the social sense. Although the number of cases has increased more than threefold in the last two weeks, on the contrary, the decrease in the hospital burden continues again. The bad days are over. May everyone be relieved.”
