Ministry of Treasury gives date for drop in dollar TL rate: “There will be a sharp fall”

Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati held a meeting with economists and academics. At the meeting, Nebati explained to economists that there would be a sharp decline in the exchange rate, especially in the dollar / TL, which should be carefully monitored in the coming weeks.

Two sources, who did not want to be named, said that the minister had said that the “crisis should be turned into an opportunity” and this assessment had been made when asked if the interest rate cuts had been untimely.

While it has been learned that economists have been told about the upcoming visit to London, experts are generally united in the opinion that the results of this visit will also not be very bright.
