New date for EMITT Tourism Fair determined according to feedback from customers and visitors

After evaluating the feedback of all domestic and foreign stakeholders, especially participants and visitors, the date for the 25th exhibition planned to be held on 10-13 February was amended as February 9-12 for a more efficient and productive performance.

International Eastern Mediterranean Tourism Fair (EMITT) which is one of the 5 largest tourism fairs in the world serves to promote Turkey and become a brand in the global tourism sector. The event which is the meeting platform of representatives of the sector that directs World Tourism has decided to amend the dates in question.

Regional Director of Hyve Group, a global fair company that organizes the Emitt fair has emphasized the importance of conducting the fair more efficiently for all local and international stakeholders. The director has continued: “The new date of our fair which we announced earlier that we had postponed until 2022, was set as 9-12 February 2022. We look forward to hold the 25t exhibition at TÜYAP fair and Congress Center on 9-12 February, 2022. At the Emitt East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair, we are excited to implement our cooperation in a more comprehensive and powerful way than ever before and welcome you. SOME FIGURES ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

In 2019, the Fair increased the total number of visitors by 29 percent and the number of foreign visitors by 87 percent. Emitt Fair, where tourism trends are determined by identifying the development areas of the tourism sector all over the world and in Turkey and providing information exchange, aims to gain momentum in the field of Health Tourism of Turkey by hosting health tourism representatives in its 25th year.

Held in 2019, the Fair brought together nearly 1000 exhibitors and 200 tour operators from 103 countries with 44,321 visitors and continued its mission to be the meeting point of Turkey and the global tourism sector by hosting 4,476 appointment job interviews.
