Northern Europe to start monitoring vaccination information via digital passport

NORTH EUROPEAN COUNTRIES VACCINE PASSPORT

It is reported Denmark and Sweden consider to digitize the information of those who have been vaccinated to be monitored by the relevant units.

The Coronavirus outbreak is causing different practices in every country in Europe. Sweden, which did not make the second closure and kept schools and restaurants open is again ahead with low case numbers while Denmark is considering to launch a digital vaccine passport app.

Denmark and Sweden are planning to digitize the information of those who have been vaccinated and have it monitored by the relevant units.

Accordingly, flight companies and airlines will be informed and those who cannot certify that they have been vaccinated will be asked not to be taken on the plane.

The digital vaccine passport is expected to start in the summer and those who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed into Sweden and Denmark.

On the other hand, Sweden’s Health Minister said vaccination was progressing slowly in the country and they would not be able to fully open travel for their country this summer.
