The General Directorate of Meteorology issued an ‘orange’ code warning for 10 provinces and a ‘yellow’ code warning for 18 provinces. The ’orange’ coded warning is often made for weather events that do not often occur, but when they do, it seems likely that there will be damage and casualties. ’Yellow’ coded warnings indicate that there may be lighter damages than the ‘orange’ warning, and they can be seen frequently.

The meteorology warned with a yellow and orange code. A recent evaluation by the General Directorate of Meteorology was as follows: ”the country is very cloudy, Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, central Anatolia (Sivas excluded) and the middle of the western Black Sea (except the military) Malatya, Adiyaman, Gaziantep and Kilis with rain showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall is expected to be strong in places around the coastal Aegean and Western Mediterranean and Edirne, Çanakkale, Manisa and Denizli.”

Wind is expected to blow in the form of a light, occasionally moderate force, strong and stormy (50-70 km / h) in the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, northwestern Anatolia and the Western and Central Black Sea, and in the form of a strong storm (60-90 km) in the Aegean from the south.
