Will England be able to lift the trophy in Qatar?

England; the country where the best quality football stars in the world play football. The premier league, where not only British citizens, but also the most important football players from foreign countries play.

Titles, trophies won in European cups at the level of teams…

However, England has not had a remarkable success story at the level of national teams for many years. The last and only major success England enjoyed was when they won the world cup in 1966, after an unforgettable game against Germany.

Indeed, it is quite an interesting situation, because people would normally expect great success from such a football country, at the level of national teams as well.

Well, one cannot help wondering what the reason for this could be. Most obviously, even the British have had a hard time figuring out the reason for this. The reason is if they had solved it earlier, the much awaited success would have come by now.

But this time, in the Qatar World Cup, it seems that England will be able to put an end to this longing. Unless , they do not lose against France on December 10, of course which is a truly difficult challenge as France looks like the best team of the tournament (not to forget they have MBAPPE as well 🙂 ).

Anyway, let us wait and see what happens this time.
