With election day fast approaching, the lobbies are also bustling. A CHP party official has said that the share of votes in their own polls is in the 30-31 percent band. On the other hand, a staff member from the six-member table suggested that there was only one way for AK Party leader and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to win.

The backstage is bustling… Here is the election poll on the CHP’s desk

Turkey is moving with rapid steps towards the election. The polls published by public opinion research companies remain important. A large number of different polls have been published showing the CHP’s vote share between 22 percent and 27 percent.

According to the DUVAR newspaper, the opposition, like the ruling parties, is cautious regarding the polls. For this reason, many parties commission their own polls to measure their own situation. The CHP claims that the share of votes in the polls it commissioned is higher than the polls announced. A party official says the share of the vote in their own polls is in the 30-31 percent band.

On the other hand, all political parties from the government to the opposition are preparing for the elections to be held in about 8 months. The opposition, which promises a transition from the presidential system, described as a ”freak system”, to a “Strengthened Parliamentary System”, is ambitious.

“THE ONLY WAY FOR ERDOGAN TO WIN”

According to the opposition, which claims that whoever is nominated in the election will win, there is only one way for AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to win. A politician from the important staff of the six-party table explained it as follows: “Erdogan will say, ‘I made a lot of mistakes, and the entire bill belongs on me. Now I’m changing the whole paradigm. The Presidential System will continue, but I have seen what all this authority has led to. I will transfer a significant part of the existing powers taking into account the proposals of the six-party table. I will open the way to discuss and regulate the economy with economic circles.’ If he does these things, Erdogan will have a chance to win.”

But will such a change take place? The answer to this question is “No, they are detached from reality, Erdogan cannot do these things”.
