According to YONEYLEM Research’s survey, when the undecided voters are distributed, the AKP’s vote is measured as 29.5 percent. The CHP is ahead of the AKP by a very small margin.

If the government does not take a different decision, general elections will be held in June 2023. But the parties have been on the pitche as if they were in a general election race for a long time. Polls show the ruling party is losing power. In fact, according to some polls, the AKP is no longer the first party. The government, on the other hand, says that it has reversed this course with moves such as the minimum wage hike in the summer months.

However, according to survey conducted by Operations Research between August 25 – September 1, the vote share of AKP is  found below 30 percent. In the poll, the CHP was the party that received the highest vote share by a small margin, while the MHP remained below the threshold of 7 percent.

According to the survey conducted with 2,403 people in 27 provinces, the chart after the distribution of the undecided and those who will not vote is as follows:

AKP: 29.5 percent
CHP: 29.7 percent
GOOD Party: 13.5 percent
HDP: 9.4 percent
MHP: 6.4 percent
Victory Party: 3.4 percent
DEVA Party: 2.2 percent
Welfare Party Again: 2 percent
Turkish Workers’ Party: 1.6 percent
Future Party: 0.3 percent

On the other hand regarding the presidential election, those who say “they will never vote for Erdogan” are close to 60 percent. The proportion of those who definitely reported that they would vote for Erdogan remained in the 30 band, while a close to 10 percent stated that they would not go to the polls.
