President Erdogan targets opposition: “They will not have the opportunity to take power in 2023”

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of 1915 Canakkale Bridge, Erdogan targeted CHP leader Kemal KILICDAROGLU who sent letters to ambassadors for Kanal Istanbul and said “They will not have the opportunity to take power in 2023.”

AKP Chairman and President Erdogan reacted sharply to the letter sent to the ambassadors by CHP leader, who had previously warned business people not to invest in the Kanal Istanbul project.

Erdogan said, “Continuity is essential in state administration. In any case, they will not have the opportunity to come to power. My nation will not give them such an opportunity.”

He went on to say “this opposition, which does not have a tree planted in this country, will not have the opportunity to take power in 2023, in the first place.”
