PRIVATE BOAT TOURS IN TURKEY

With the decision Muğla governorship has taken sale of many products in chain stores have been banned. According to the decision, grocery stores were forced to close many departments. The governor’s decision also provided new facilities for charter boats and private boat owners. In the new decisions taken for those who have private boats, since boats with a living area will be considered residential, it will be possible for people who already reside in these boats to go to sea with their boats.

After the decision to close for 17 days throughout Turkey, the Public Health Board of Mugla Governorate announced the decisions made at the provincial Health Board meeting. A number of new measures have been announced. Additional privileges were published on the Muğla governorship website.

According to the decision, retail construction materials, textiles, bags and shoes, carpets, furniture, electronic products, white goods and air conditioning, stationery and automotive products sales departments of the grocery stores will be closed. Because the establishments whose main area of activity is the sale of these products are subject to the restrictions imposed, it was decided to close these departments and the floors where they are located and to take physical measures to prevent customers from reaching these departments.

CHARTER BOATS WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE REGULAR FLIGHTS

The governor’s decision also included clarifications on charter boats and new regulations. Accordingly, they can only do tours with foreign tourists from abroad. Also those working in said sector will have exemption from the restrictions, if they are on duty to serve tourists in referred business activities. Concerned tourist guides will have exemption too.

CONVENIENCE ALSO PROVIDED TO THOSE WHO HAVE PRIVATE BOATS

In the new decisions taken within those who have a private boat, boats with a living area (Kamara) will be considered as housing, so that people who already reside in these boats can go to sea with their boats, can be located in the bays, as well as in case of mandatory conditions (health problem, boat failure, adverse weather conditions, basic food needs, waste transfer, etc. ) it was announced that boats were allowed to enter and exit ports and marinas.
