Quantity of cargo transported via grain corridor exceeds 15 million tons

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said that the amount of cargo transported in the grain corridor had exceeded 15 million tons.

The Minister made a written statement about the amount of cargo transported in the “grain corridor”.

Reminding that there was a grain crisis after the war between Ukraine and Russia, he drew attention to the fact that grain shipments from Ukraine, one of the most important grain centers in the world, had stopped.

He went on to say a total of 585 ships had departed loaded from ports in the cities of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhne of Ukraine between August 1 and December 25 and the total amount of cargo transported had exceeded 15 million 80 thousand tons.”
