Raise in domestic airline ceiling ticket prices

At the end of June, the domestic airline ceiling ticket prices, which were set at 990 liras, were increased. Those who want to buy tickets from Turkish Airlines (THY) face prices far above the set ceiling prices.

Increases in fuel prices and exchange rates have brought new hikes in transportation fares.

The domestic airline ceiling ticket prices, which were increased from 599 TL to 699 TL about six months ago, were increased to 990 TL in June.

Today however, citizens who want to buy tickets encounter figures far above this ceiling.

According to the prices on THY’s website, the new ceiling price is 1150 TL, and this figure can rise even higher for connection flights.
