Russia’s Federal biomedical agency has suggested a drug has been developed that could cure the corona virus. Russia’s Federal biomedical agency (FMBA) has issued a encouraging statement against the worldwide outbreak of the corona virus.

In the statement made by the press department of the agency, it was shared that FMBA had introduced a new Meflokin-based drug used against malaria to treat the virus.

In the statement shared by Sputnik it said “The Russian FMBA’s ‘Farmzashchita’ research and Production Centre has developed a treatment scheme for corona virus infection on the basis of the meflokin drug used against malaria, taking into account the experiences of China and France”.
