It is reported that Ryanair which is among the largest airline companies in Europe will begin flights from July 1. The company’s target is said to be to reach 40 percent of its capacity in the first place and make a thousand flights a day. To achieve this goal Ryanair will make discounts of up to 50 per cent on ticket prices to persuade people to fly again.

After very tough times in the aviation sector due to the worldwide impact of the corona virus pandemic companies have made plans to start operating again in air transport,

According to reports in media, Ireland-based Ryanair plans to offer discounts of up to 50 per cent on its flights to Europe’s holiday destinations from July 1. If this happens, it is forecasted that passengers will have the opportunity to buy tickets for £ 16.5 (about TL 140).

It is also reported that Ryanair is targeting a thousand flights a day, mainly related to countries such as Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal, destinations famous for their resorts.

A top executive of the company has made a statement in this regard, saying they would make discounts, and added, “We expect our passenger numbers to have halved compared to July last year. When we start flying again, we’re going to push prices down as much as we can to get people back on planes. We will try to sell tickets at the lowest price to fill the seats as much as possible”.

The executive also criticized the fact that “people returning to the UK from June 8 would be placed under 14-day quarantine”, saying: “people will not abide by it and the authorities will be helpless in the face of it. Towards the end of June, I think that this rule will be removed from the agenda quietly or officially cancelled.”

It is reported that passengers will have to abide by some measures on flights due to the outbreak. The most important of these is measuring fever before boarding the plane and wearing a mask throughout the flight. (TA)
