The holiday season continues in Antalya: 250 thousand people are expected

The summer season, which started late due to the pandemic, continues. Groups continue to come from Russia, Ukraine, Europe, Poland and the Baltic countries in November and December due to the fact that the Egyptian destination is problematic.

Antalya Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism officials have said, “The occupancy rate in November 2021 is much higher than expected. The occupancy rate in the open hotels is 70 percent. The season was extended to the end of December. The bookings for the 2023 season are very good.”

Stating that most of the tourists come from Russia and some countries in Europe, sector professionals say, “We are expecting 250 thousand people to come due to a week-long holiday in primary and secondary education institutions. The prices are affordable.”
